This reference was made as a single piece for the Only Watch 2015 charity auction, the only 5016 Patek Philippe has ever cased in stainless steel rather than gold or platinum. It carries the reference's usual combination of minute repeater, tourbillon and retrograde perpetual calendar behind a blue dial with applied Arabic numerals not used on any other 5016. At the Only Watch auction in Geneva on November 7, 2015, it sold for CHF 7,300,000, briefly the highest price ever paid for a wristwatch at auction.
