Introduced in 1992, the 5013 was Patek Philippe's first wristwatch to combine a self-winding movement with a minute repeater and a perpetual calendar, and it held the title of Patek's most complicated series-produced wristwatch until the 5016 arrived two years later. Its tonneau case carries an unusual dial layout: month at 3, moon phase and seconds at 6, day at 9, leap-year cycle at 12, and a retrograde date hand sweeping an arc from 8 to 4.
