The 6241 is the 6239 with a black acrylic tachymeter bezel in place of the engraved metal one — same case, same pump pushers, same movement. It ran alongside the 6239 through the second half of the 1960s in comparatively small numbers. A minority left the factory with the dial Rolex itself catalogued as 'exotic', the design collectors later renamed the Paul Newman. It was an unpopular option when new.
