Rolex · Daytona
The first Daytona on a fully in-house Rolex chronograph movement, the calibre 4130. Fewer parts than the outgoing Zenith-based movement, a vertical clutch for a jump-free chronograph start, and a 72-hour power reserve. It ran for 16 years essentially unchanged.
The 116520 was produced from 2000 to 2016.
The Rolex 116520 runs the Cal. 4130, an automatic movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
