The 5811/1G launched in October 2022 as Patek Philippe's successor to the discontinued steel 5711/1A, growing the Nautilus case from 40mm to 41mm and returning to the two-piece case construction of the original 1976 Gerald Genta design (the 5711 used a three-piece case). It comes only in gold, with a sunburst blue dial that darkens to black at the rim.
