The steel Nautilus that carries a pointer date, moonphase, power reserve indicator and small seconds on a deliberately asymmetric dial, driven by the ultra-thin micro-rotor calibre 240. It descends directly from the reference 3712, which Patek Philippe built for only about a year and which introduced that combination of indications to the Nautilus line. The 5712 carried the layout in a 40mm case and stayed in the collection far longer than its short-lived predecessor.
