The Mark II, Omega's Speedmaster for the 1970s. It runs the same calibre 861 as the contemporary Moonwatch inside a cushion case, with the tachymetre scale printed on an internal ring beneath the crystal instead of on an external bezel. It was developed alongside the standard Moonwatch rather than as a replacement for it, and it opened the Pilot Line series that ran through the decade.
