The reference worn on the lunar surface in July 1969. Buzz Aldrin's Speedmaster went out onto the Moon; Neil Armstrong left his inside the Lunar Module because its onboard clock had failed and the crew wanted a backup timer aboard. This is also the first Speedmaster with the asymmetric case and crown guards.
