NASA gave Omega the Silver Snoopy Award in 1970, an honour astronauts hand to contractors, after the Speedmaster was used to time the engine burn that brought Apollo 13 home. This is the fiftieth-anniversary piece: the far side of the moon appears on the caseback, and a Snoopy figure travels across it while the chronograph runs.
