Patek Philippe · Calatrava
Known in the trade as the Calatrava 96.
The 1932 reference that gave Patek its design vocabulary for dress watches, drawn under clear Bauhaus influence: a plain round case, a flat bezel, no ornament. Nearly a century later the Calatrava line is still explaining itself by reference to this watch.
The 96 was produced from 1932 to 1973.
The Patek Philippe 96 runs the Cal. 12-120, a manual movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
