Patek Philippe launched reference 5296 in 2005 with a two-tone sector dial copied closely from the 1930s reference 96, down to the blued dauphine hands. The 38mm white gold case houses the self-winding caliber 324 S C, with center seconds and a date window at 3 o'clock, a layout the hand-wound reference 96 never had. In 2007 Patek added a plain silvered dial without the sector printing as a second option.
