Tudor · Submariner
The no-date half of the Snowflake pair. Whether a dive watch shows a date is a real choice rather than a trim level: the date window interrupts the dial's symmetry and adds a component to a case that has to stay sealed, and navies generally did not want one. This is the reference for people who agree with the navies.
The 9401 was produced from 1969 to 1975.
The Tudor 9401 runs the ETA 2483, an automatic movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
