Tudor · Submariner
The first Tudor Submariner, from 1954 — the same year as Rolex's own. Tudor's proposition was a Rolex Oyster case and bracelet around a robust third-party movement, sold for meaningfully less, and navies bought accordingly.
The 7922 was produced from 1954 to 1955.
The Tudor 7922 runs the Fleurier 390, an automatic movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
