Built exclusively for COMEX, the French diving and offshore engineering firm, and never sold at retail. It's a 5513 fitted with the helium escape valve Rolex and COMEX developed together, which lets trapped helium vent from the case during a saturation diver's decompression rather than blowing the crystal off. Deliveries ran in batches through the 1970s; the often-repeated figure of exactly 154 examples isn't well substantiated by any single source.
