The Chronomat this revives was not a marketing exercise. The Frecce Tricolori, the Italian air force's aerobatic display team, went to Breitling in the early 1980s wanting a watch built to their requirements, and the resulting 1984 Chronomat is widely credited with carrying Breitling back out of the quartz crisis. The rider tabs on the bezel are the visual signature that came out of that brief.
The AB0134 has been in production since 2020.
The Breitling AB0134 runs the Breitling 01, an automatic movement.
