Audemars Piguet · Royal Oak Offshore
Known in the trade as the The Beast.
Emmanuel Gueit designed the Royal Oak Offshore at 42mm and 14mm thick when the Royal Oak itself was 39mm and slim. Genta himself was reportedly furious at what had been done to his design. It launched in 1993, the trade nicknamed it 'The Beast', and it created the oversized sports watch as a genre.
The 25721ST was produced from 1993 to 1997.
The Audemars Piguet 25721ST runs the Cal. 2126/2840, an automatic movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
