Signed Parts
Components, such as a crown or clasp, stamped or engraved with the watch brand's name or logo, indicating they were made by or for that brand.
Authentication note
Why this detail matters.
A signed part carries the brand's own markings, but a signed part can still have come from a different watch than the one it's currently fitted to, so signing alone doesn't confirm a part belongs with a specific case or movement. Signed parts get compared for era and reference correctness, not just checked for brand authenticity.
