Glossary
A dial that has been refinished or reprinted outside the manufacturer's authorized service process, usually to disguise damage or aging.
Redials often reveal themselves through printing that's too crisp for the watch's claimed age, incorrect font weights or spacing, or a lume plot that doesn't match the reference. A redial isn't necessarily evidence of an attempted fraud on its own, but an undisclosed one materially misrepresents the watch's originality and typically reduces its value.
