Hacking Seconds
A movement feature that stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out to set the time, allowing synchronization to a reference clock.

Like quickset, hacking is a documented per-caliber feature, so its presence or absence is a fast movement-identity check. Counterfeit movements frequently get this wrong in both directions. It is one of the reasons a physical inspection can catch a movement swap that photographs of the dial never would.
