The second generation of the very first Aquanaut, the 5060, carried into steel as the 5066A with a sapphire caseback added so the calibre 330 SC could be seen through the back. It kept the compact proportions of the original rather than following the 5065A's move to a larger case, launched in the same years as its bigger sibling.
- Uses the self-winding calibre 330 SC, the same movement family as the original 5060.
- The 5066A kept the compact case of the original 5060 line; the larger "jumbo" case belongs to the 5065A that launched around the same period.

How do I check a Patek Philippe 5066A with Watch Safe?
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
