The Pasha returned in 2020. Its design dates to 1985 and itself refers back to a 1943 watch made for the Pasha of Marrakech, but the detail everyone remembers is the crown: a screw-down cap tethered to the case by a short chain so it cannot be mislaid while it is off.
- The chained crown cover is original to the design rather than an aftermarket addition.
Before you ask.
When was the Cartier WSPA0009 produced?
The WSPA0009 has been in production since 2020.
What movement does the Cartier WSPA0009 use?
The Cartier WSPA0009 runs the Cal. 1847 MC, an automatic movement.
How do I check a Cartier WSPA0009 with Watch Safe?
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
