An oval case with an off-centre dial, and one of the few designs in modern watchmaking that puts the balance wheel on the front. The movement is built to be read from the dial side, so the bridge shapes and the escapement are part of the composition rather than hidden — an inversion of the usual arrangement that only makes sense once you accept the case shape.
