In October 2022 Lange retired the original Zeitwerk movement in favor of caliber L043.6, doubling the power reserve from thirty-six hours to seventy-two through a twin-barrel design. It was the first structural change to the movement since the Zeitwerk launched in 2009. The three jumping-numeral discs and the constant-force remontoir that drives them are unchanged; a new pusher at four o'clock lets the hour disc be corrected on its own.
