The Saxonia reduced to its minimum: hours and minutes, no seconds, no date, in a case a few millimetres deep. It is the hardest kind of watch to make interesting and the easiest to get wrong, which is why Lange has used it for its most unusual dials — copper-blue goldstone, white gold with aventurine — where a plainer collection would not carry them.
