The Little Lange 1 "Soirée" shrinks the Lange 1 layout to a 36.1mm case and gives it a mother-of-pearl dial bonded over a solid silver base, machined thin enough to keep an iridescent depth to the finish. That extra dial thickness meant the movement needed longer pinions than the standard Lange 1 caliber to reach through it, so caliber L901.4 is a distinct variant of L901.0. Lange built it for about three years in the early 2000s, in a production run confirmed at under 75 pieces.
- Caliber L901.4 differs from the base L901.0 in pinion length, lengthened specifically to clear the mother-of-pearl dial construction.
- Confirmed production of fewer than 75 pieces.
