The Lange 1 Moonphase debuted in 2002, eight years after the original Lange 1, adding a moon-phase display set inside the small-seconds subdial without disturbing the rest of the asymmetric layout. Caliber L901.5 is hand-wound, and the moon disc itself is precise enough to stay accurate for 122.6 years before it needs correcting. This yellow gold version uses the original generation of the movement, before Lange updated later Lange 1 Moon Phase references to caliber L121.3 with a day/night indicator in 2017.
