A. Lange & Söhne · Double Split
The first mechanical chronograph able to split the minute counter as well as the seconds hand, so it can time two comparative events up to thirty minutes apart. Every rattrapante before it could only split seconds, which limited comparative timing to a single minute.
The A. Lange & Söhne 404.032 runs the L001.1, a manual movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
