A. Lange & Söhne · Datograph
Known in the trade as the Datograph.
Launched in 1999 and widely regarded as the finest modern chronograph movement made by anyone — Philippe Dufour has said as much publicly. A flyback column-wheel chronograph with a precise jumping minute counter, finished to a standard the sapphire caseback exists specifically to show.
The 403.035 was produced from 1999 to 2012.
The A. Lange & Söhne 403.035 runs the L951.1, a manual movement.
Look up the watch's serial number in the Watch Safe registry to see whether a record exists or a theft flag is attached. A registry search identifies records for a specific serial; it does not authenticate the watch. Authentication is performed in person by an independent expert authenticator, and Watch Safe records and publishes the result.
