Known in the trade as the Deepsea.
Rated to 3,900 metres using a compressed-sandwich case construction Rolex calls Ringlock, with a nitrogen-alloyed steel ring inside carrying the load. The version James Cameron strapped to the Deepsea Challenger's manipulator arm for the 2012 Mariana Trench dive was an experimental one-off, not this production watch — but it is why the D-blue dial exists.
