Announced at Baselworld 2013, the 5200 is the most technically ambitious watch in the Gondolo line: an eight-day power reserve packed into the collection's two-piece stepped tonneau case, alongside day and date indication, all on a manually wound movement. Fitting eight days of running autonomy into a rectangular form-movement case is a mainspring-architecture problem few manufactures have solved, and the 5200 uses components developed by Patek Philippe's own Advanced Research unit to do it.
