The Railmaster, launched in 1957 as the third watch in the professional trilogy Omega introduced that year alongside the Speedmaster and the Seamaster 300. It was built for people who worked around electrical equipment, railway engineers and technicians among them. The defence is a triple-layered soft-iron cage around the movement rated to 1,000 gauss, rather than any change to the calibre itself.
