A Bauhaus drawing with a Glashütte movement inside. The Tangente is Nomos's founding model from 1992 and the design most associated with the company: long thin numerals, a small seconds subdial, no date. Nomos names its own calibres in words rather than numbers — Alpha, Beta, DUW 3001 — and builds its own escapement, which few makers at any price do.
