Maximilian Büsser's Horological Machines are deliberately not watches that happen to look unusual: each starts from an object — a jet engine, a frog, a spaceship, a starfleet — and the timekeeping is fitted into that form rather than the form wrapped round a movement. MB&F stands for Maximilian Büsser and Friends, and the friends are named on every piece, because the independent specialists who build the movements and cases are credited rather than absorbed.
