Petite Heure Minute
2 references catalogued.
An off-centre hours-and-minutes dial sitting low, leaving most of the surface empty — which is the point, because that space is where Jaquet Droz puts its craft work: hand-painted miniatures, engraved gold appliqués, grand feu enamel, mother-of-pearl. Pierre Jaquet-Droz built automata for European courts in the eighteenth century, and the modern company is organised around that inheritance rather than around complications.
