Duometre
8 references catalogued.
A genuine mechanical idea rather than a styling one. A Duomètre has two barrels and two gear trains driven by one escapement, so the complication — a chronograph, a foudroyante, a moonphase — draws its power from a separate source rather than stealing torque from the timekeeping side. That is the usual reason a chronograph loses accuracy while running, and this is the architecture that removes it.
