The first square water-resistant chronograph case, launched in 1969 with the Calibre 11 automatic. Steve McQueen wore the blue-dial version throughout Le Mans in 1971 because his friend Jo Siffert was a Heuer man, and the association has defined the model ever since. The crown sits on the left because of the Calibre 11's modular layout.
