Diamonds that move. The Happy Diamonds idea dates from 1976 — stones held between two sapphire crystals so they slide freely rather than being set into the dial, on the argument that a diamond looks better in motion than fixed. The Happy Sport of 1993 put it into a steel sports case, which was an unusual pairing at the time.
