Open your watch in the Vault

Find the watch you're selling and open its "Share your registration" panel.

Pick whichever format your marketplace or forum accepts: an image badge, a BBCode tag, Markdown, or a plain link.

Buyers click through to the public registry page and check the serial number, brand, model, and authentication record for themselves.

What A Buyer Can Check At The Link

The registry page behind every badge is the same public page your watch already has. Nothing new gets published for this kit — a buyer sees exactly what's already there.

  • Serial number, matched against the listing
  • Brand, model, and reference number
  • Authentication status and the date it was recorded
  • Whether the serial has ever been flagged as stolen

Questions Sellers Ask

Does Watch Safe verify the sale, or the money?

Neither. Watch Safe records what was authenticated and when. It never takes payment for the watch itself and never stands between you and the buyer financially — the sale is yours to settle directly, however the two of you agree.

Do buyers need a Watch Safe account to check the badge?

No. The registry page behind every badge is public. Anyone can open it and read the record without signing in.

What if the watch was authenticated a while ago?

The registry page is permanent. It stays live and accurate no matter how long ago the watch was authenticated.

Can I use the badge on any marketplace or forum?

Yes. It's a static image plus a link, so it works anywhere that accepts images or basic formatting: eBay, Chrono24, WatchUSeek, Reddit, Instagram captions, or a listing on your own site.
