Every watch authenticated through Watch Safe already has a permanent, public certificate page. Share it in your listing and let buyers check the watch themselves, independently, before they ever message you.
Open your watch in the Vault
Find the watch you're selling and open its "Share your registration" panel.
Copy your badge or your link from the Vault
The Vault generates your watch's badge with its certificate number in the art, plus HTML, BBCode, Markdown, and plain-link formats for wherever you're listing.
Paste it into your listing
Buyers click through to the certificate page and check the brand, model, reference, and authentication record for themselves.
The badge
This is a sample. Every real badge is generated in the Vault and carries its own certificate number, so a badge lifted from someone else's listing points at the wrong watch. If the number is missing, or the link doesn't open the watch in front of you, walk away.
What a buyer can check at the link
The page behind every badge is your watch's certificate page, already live and public. This kit publishes nothing new. The serial number, photos, and service history stay private until you approve a request.
- Brand, model, reference number, and year
- Authentication status and the date it was recorded
- Certificate id and hash
- On-chain record, with a link to the block explorer

Questions sellers ask
Does Watch Safe verify the sale, or the money?
Neither. Watch Safe records what was authenticated and when. It never takes payment for the watch itself and never stands between you and the buyer financially. The sale is yours to settle directly, however the two of you agree.
Do buyers need a Watch Safe account to check the badge?
No. The certificate page behind every badge is public. Anyone can open it and read the record without signing in.
What if the watch was authenticated a while ago?
The certificate page is permanent. It stays live and accurate no matter how long ago the watch was authenticated.
Can I use the badge on any marketplace or forum?
Yes. It's a plain image with a link behind it, so it works anywhere that accepts images or basic formatting: eBay, Chrono24, WatchUSeek, Reddit, Instagram captions, or a listing on your own site.
