Rolesor

Rolex's trademarked name for its two-tone combination of steel and gold on one watch, typically a steel case with gold bezel, crown, and bracelet center links.

Authentication note

Why this detail matters.

Rolesor configurations are catalogued per reference, so which components are gold, and which gold color, is checkable rather than a matter of taste. Aftermarket gold plating on an all-steel watch is a known deception that inspection detects at the plating's edges and wear points. Weight also tells, since solid gold center links are noticeably heavier than plated steel.
