Bracelet Stretch

Play or looseness that develops in a metal bracelet over years of wear, as the pins and link holes wear against each other.

Why it matters for authentication

Bracelet stretch is a normal wear condition, not a defect that indicates a fake, but the amount of stretch should be roughly consistent with the watch's claimed age and use. An authenticator notes stretch as a condition detail rather than an authenticity signal on its own, since both genuine and counterfeit bracelets stretch with wear.
